Little Baby PANDA WORM….
…b/c she’s cute and looks like a Panda
…but squirms around like a Worm…lol
Panda Worm is now almost 4 days old!!! Unbelievable! I haven’t posted for a while b/c it has NOT been easy! Little baby wants to suck from her mommy…but she didn’t seem like she was getting enough. So…yesterday I took her to the vet. I was very concerned since she was no longer a pink color…but more of a blue tinge to her. My biggest fear was made true yesterday. Panda Worm has a cleft palate. This basically means she has a hole in the top of her mouth and it makes it so she cannot suckle from her mom or a bottle (the mouth cannot create the pressure needed b/c of the hole). This could be life threatening and she will more than likely need a surgery…but not until she is at least 4 weeks old. She is a LIFE…and I cannot give up on her…and hope you WILL NOT too!! Some people would put her down…but I want to give her every shot I can…even if it’s expensive and/or time consuming. So..every 2 hours I have to feed her. YES…every 2 hours. And for the next 4 weeks!!! Or it could be more…but I will do it…b/c she is a life and I believe in her and hope she can make it through. So if you pray…please pray for our little Panda Worm..and that she makes it through this!!! No sleep for me…but I think it’s worth it!!

And Muffin didn’t want to not be included in all of this. Panda Worms aunt Muffin below…she was sleeping with her tongue hanging all the way out..was way too funny not to take a pic!
And Panda Worm after we found out she can only live if I give her a syringe of food every 2 hours…she is too adorable!!

for right now…her name is Panda Worm…but for some reason…I think her real name may end up being SHRIMP lolol
be careful when feeding the pup on its back. it’s not a natural way for a pup to feed and they can get it in their little lungs. I bottle feed orphaned baby animals and it is very difficult. I wish you the best of luck and i know Panda Worm will pull through. 🙂
