The day started off at a Carousel…super pretty Italian elegance…but in a mall and I forgot my camera (you’ll have to wait for the real photos…sowee). Super funny times! Tara and I ended up having her change clothes in an elevator. The door kept on opening with moms and their kids in strollers wanting to ride…and we’d be like “Oh hi”…lol.
This photo is from our second stop of the day…an indoor amusement park. Tara makes such pretty modeling faces don’t you think.
These photos are from before we left to shoot anything. The hair was inspired from the Hello Kitty for MAC campaign…and Kristin was super funny and even bought a crimper for the shoot. Yeah for 1980’s!
The makeup theme was a collab between Dan and I…but was based off an editorial of this model (maybe from Zink) at a Carnival.
So we did the shoot at the mall…and once we had Tara dresses (in the elevator) we came out to shoot at the Carousel. By then someone must have called mall security on us…so this funny little Chinese man on a Segway strolls up to tell me I have to go to the mall office….”no shoot”. With this I asked him if I could get a ride with him on his Segway…he smiley faced but said “NO”…lol…was too funny! The guy that owned the Carousel hooked us up and called maybe a head of the mall and got us permission to shoot…so the shoot went on! But I didn’t get a ride from the mall cop : (
We get back to my house to meet the other model Alex. My shoots are sooo much fun that people fall right asleep….victim Dan (aka King of all Gays….aka Spray Dan) passed out in Steve’s car. Fun!!!!!!
While Alex got her hair and makeup did…we played in the backyard with the puppies.

Tara is not just one of my models…she’s also a very close friend…so her and my brother (he bf) Myke got me the funnest b-day presents! The are shower caps in a Panda and a Rasberry…Dan models the Raspberry below…don’t worry I’ll wash it now that he’s worn it…jk…lol…that was an easy joke!
We take shoots reallly seriously as you can see….now back to the shoot. Here’s Alex getting all done up!
Snack time. This shoot was uber early…everyone got started coming to me at 8am…so I of course had bagels and juice ready. How nice is I!!!
The constant “joke” at shoots is that Dan takes fooooooorrrrevvvvvvvvverrrr to do makeup…so this photo shows everyone in their jackets ready to go…waiting for Dan to finish.

We finally get to leave and go to the next location. SUPPPERR fun indoor amusement park. The whole time Dan and I just wanted to play games and not shoot…lol

We shot Alex on the Carousel in a Monster Tutu Dress. The rhinestone detailing was custom made in Thailand…more fab pieces with rhinestones coming your way!!
