This week has been one of those weeks that feels like a month! Been beyond busy…sooo exhausted! …but it has all been well worth it! The HIGHLIGHT of this week was…that Moose, my ADORABLE foster child dog was ADOPTED!!! Makes me so happy! His FOREVER home is just perfect: 3 kids, 2 new brothers dogs, and a GIANT backyard!!
The day he was going to his forever home…his cousins (my dogs) were EXTRA playful with him! They literally played ALL morning! I think they knew that their friend was leaving…

GOD he has SUCH A CUTE smooshed face!!!! …and MORE playing!
I let everyone play and say their good-bye’s…and then took my Moose in the car with me for the hour drive to his new family…he looks so cute sitting with his blankey and toys : )
Meet Bono…one of Moose’s new brothers!!! I think they will be BEST FRIENDS!!
…and Moose on his new couch…he made himself at home as soon as we got there! I did leave him with 5 of his most favorite toys though…so he had something familiar : )
Then came the hard part….saying goodbye to my boy. We hugged…we kissed…tears were shed…but I can smile that he will be loved and not kept in a crate all day every day (like his old family I saved him from had him in).
Luckily his new mommy is SUPER SWEET and has been texting me cute photos of Moose…and even said she would take the 1 hour drive so we could have a visit. I soooo look forward to seeing my Moosey Goosey!! …photos to come when that happens : )
