The SURPRISE is……SPARKY…the ADORABLE Japanese Chin I rescued! I know…you were probably hoping or thinking it had something to do with the HUGE sale…or me dressing some AMAZING celeb…nope….it’s a dog….lolol
Yesterday was a crazy day! First half of the day was spent rescuing/hanging out with dogs….later half of day doing a shoot. Backstage shoot photos coming tomorrow : ) …for now here’s Sparky’s story:
A week ago I was at a yard sale and the people had their 3 dogs in the backyard. I could see them and hear them at the gate so I went to say hi to them because I’m a crazy dog lover (lol). The cutest was a Japanese Chin that was SUPER excited to say hi to me. I told his owners how cute he was and they told me how they didn’t like him or want him. How sad! Immediately I said I would take him. The owners weren’t horrible people. They didn’t beat the dog or starve him. They just kept him in a crate all the time so he had no opportunity to “misbehave”…so when I brought the poor guy home with me…he felt most comfortable underneath my couch/chairs/tables. Neglect comes in many forms. …it could be a dog being beaten, or not fed, or even in this case a dog not being loved. 4 dogs, 5 dogs, 10903874874 dogs….I don’t care! I know…I’m sure I need MORE dogs…but i’m going to foster him until he finds his forever home. NO pet should NOT know love. Poor guy! He is the newest addition to my dog farm….ahaha. I’m calling him Moose right now…b/c he’s so much bigger and dopey-er than the other guys…he cracks me up! SUCH A CUTIE PA-TOO-TI!!!!
Sparky and Duchess meeting….will they be friends? I hope so : )
Sparky’s funniest thing he does is that he spits like a camel when he’s excited….sooo funny!
DOG FARM together! lolol….all 5 dogs in the backyard…how sweet! ……and Sparky having fun peeing on all my flowers….he already feels right at home : )

The ideal home for him would be a retired person that wants a forever companion or a a family with kids so he can play all day. I can’t wait for him to find that wonderful home…until then….I’ll love him!!
