Fashion Week officially starts today in NYC…i’m hoping tomorrow to announce either the good news or the bad news about our new Fashion Party & Show….but who can really think about any of this….when a legend has left us!!!

Alexander McQueen was more than a designer…he IS a TRUE ARTIST! His fashion shows were not just models walking down a runway….he created visual art at his shows! I started college in 2001, and I remember the anticipation of his runway shows coming out live on his website….just WONDERFUL pieces of art!!!
BEST McQueen runway show EVER was circus themed….AMAZING-NESS!!!!!
Also back in 2001 Bjork played at Radio City Music Hall. I wore one of my favorite Alexander McQueen outfits! I don’t know which season’s collection my outfit is from…but I still have it and will CHERISH it…as well as the rest of my pieces!!!

McQueen and Bjork had a special relationship. They are two of my favorite artists: Bjork for music, and McQueen for fashion…although I think the 2 go hand in hand —>music and fashion! Here’s Bjork performing in 2003 with a live runway show by Alexander McQueen:
