WWD & The Ting Tings loving some New York Couture!!!!!! Crazy story!!!!

Yesterday (well really every day) was/is madness…so I’m just getting to post this now.    Gearing up for the Fashion Week Show, the new collection, and Warped Tour & Street Scene in CA.  So the craziness is…I was at a meeting with my manufacturer yesterday.  He was on the phone so I decided to sift through his WWD’s (he always has a LARGE pile in his office).  I randomly pull out one…and I nearly shit myself!!!!!!  On the cover is Katie White (the lead singer of The Ting Tings) wearing my Vegas Print Jumper.  But the craziest part is…I was wearing the exact jumper.  So now i’m all excited and flipping out, so Peter (my manufacturer) thinks I’m retarted…lol.  I show him…he produced these…so how this slipped past him I don’t know.  Either way I was SUPER excited!!!

Now about The Ting Tings and All Points West………..

My PR team had been talking back and forth with Katie White’s people (she’s the singer for The Ting Tings <— LOVE her!).  I found out through them that she checked out my collection and was in LOVE with everything…but especially the Onesie Jumper!!!  So we sent her a few pieces to wear for the event.  Dan (aka Big Gay Dan or The King of all Gays…you may know him as any of these loving nicknames) was with me the night of her performance…so we ended up closing our shop up early to first watch Crystal Castles…and then watch The Ting Tings  (the sign read “sorry closed early to dance party”….lol).

Katie ended up not wearing anything New York Couture…so I was pretty bummed!  What I didn’t know is that she was rocking out before the concert in her FAB New York Couture pieces!!!  So i’m not bummed anymore!!!!!

More on All Points West.  It was a muddy nightmare…but I was there and tried to make the most out of it.

Below is the basic yuck of the weekend….rain makes mud…mud is ucky!!!  We were all basically covered in it….not fun!

The second day wasn’t as bad…still uber muddy…but at least sunny…so I strolled around with my handy megaphone giving out Mustache stickers…was wayy too much fun!!

The funniest part of the weekend was the Choonimals guys….they sell these super fun t-shirts with funny animals on them.  I met them at Bamboozle this year…and they are hysterical!!!!  Check them out HERE

The last day of the event is was rain, thunder, and lightening….no good!  So they would not open the event.  Doors were suppose to open at 12…but they ended up opening at 5.  Sucksville right!  Instead of bumming around we had fun times!  Everyone was pretty drunk…the boys went running around in the rain and mud…we made funny shrinky-dinks (I made a mini Mustache).  Here Joe is wet and I’m saying no thanks…no wet for me.  I like to be dry!
