The creative juices have been running through my veins like CRAZY lately!!! …………which means I have to put them to use in every way possible. So, when I was asked to do a photoshoot for a magazine with the theme WILD…with earthy looks that have edge to them…I OF COURSE signed on!! Thrilled I did, because these might be my MOST FAVORITE photos!! See for yourself…

Wild thing…you make my heart sing…
The shoot was in my favorite area of woods….where there’s this beautiful trail. I’m not one for walking….hate going “slow” (in ALL aspects of life)…but I LOVE bike riding through and just looking around at all the nature. …the trees changing colors…the sorta grain looking stalks…it’s all so lovely! Since the theme was WILD…all the looks were kinda rock-n-roll meets Pocahontas. Jeez…if Pocahontas was alive today…it would be AWESOME to dress her…so with that in mind…meet my modern day version of the epic princess!
Feathers…feathers…and MORE feathers! I ABSOLUTELY NEED an authentic Indian headdress after doing this shoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No…literally…it’s a MUST!! Soo gorgeous! In fact…i’m completely in LOVE with all Native American clothing and accessories right now: jewelry, moccasins, and so on! Check mark for my holiday presents wishlist : )
The lighting for this shoot could NOT have been more perfect! The sun was definitely our friend….creating these UNREAL ethereal looks…
I don’t like to toot my own horn too much….but i’m tooting LOUD right now. I like to photo document as many things as possible…shoots are no exception to this rule. When I took the below photo I was thrilled!

The last look of the day was a bright Turquoise number…the front is a short mini…with a sorta lovely ruffle mermaid-esque train in the back. The dress completely POPPED out through all the fall elements.
I had such a GREAT time with everyone involved in the shoot! Days like these that are “work”…but definitely don’t feel like work…are the BEST! The real photo story from this shoot….coming soon…so keep a look out…
